Welcome to the very first blog post here at Roam2Rescue! If you have found your way to our site, chances are you share our two greatest passions: a love for the great outdoors and a deep, unwavering commitment to animal welfare.
We started Roam2Rescue (https://www.roam2rescue.com) with a simple but powerful idea. We wanted to create a space where animal and adventure-themed clothing and gifts could do more than just look good—we wanted them to do good. Our mission is to use our business as a vehicle to raise vital funds for non-profit animal organizations that are on the front lines of animal rescue.
And for our launch, we couldn't think of a better organization to champion than Poverty's Pets in Phoenix, Arizona.
Shining a Light on Poverty’s Pets
The team at Poverty's Pets (https://povertyspets.org) is doing incredible, boots-on-the-ground work in areas that desperately need intervention. They directly address the heartbreaking animal welfare crisis in underserved communities throughout Phoenix. In these neighborhoods, tragic issues like backyard breeding, severe neglect, and outright abuse are all too prevalent.
But Poverty’s Pets isn't just treating the symptoms of this crisis; they are actively working to cure it. They provide hands-on medical care and rescue services, but they also prioritize education and advocacy. By working directly with the community to promote responsible pet ownership, they are helping to break the cycle of suffering and creating a safer, more compassionate world for animals who have been left behind.
Our First Big Goal: $1,000 for Poverty's Pets
Because we believe so strongly in the life-changing work they are doing, we are making a major commitment right out of the gate.
Our very first $1,000 in net profit will be donated directly to Poverty's Pets.

You aren't just buying gear; you are funding medical care, providing food, and supporting the education needed to end animal suffering in Phoenix.
